Power Hiring Blitz Continues

The Human Resources department at Power is reportedly considering asking employees to wear those “Hello! My name is ___” stickers common at business conferences and seminars attended by large groups of people who, for the most part, don’t know one another. With Power’s influx of new hires continuing unabated, HR thinks nametags might help speed the getting-to-know-you process.

Among the latest group of new faces in our hallways is Leigh Ann Burckhardt, who joins Power’s GE Appliances team as a Client Engagement Manager. Leigh Ann comes to us from Louisville agency Bandy, Carroll, Hellige, where she spent two years a Senior Account Manager for McDonald’s of Kentuckiana and the Louisville Zoo. Prior to BCH, Leigh Ann worked for 10 years at Tumbleweed Restaurants, first as a Local Marketing and Events Coordinator for the chain’s downtown Louisville waterfront location, and finally as Marketing Manager for all 32 locations. A graduate of the University of Louisville, Leigh Ann earned a B.A. in Communications with a focus in Advertising.

Molly Owens comes to Power as a Media Planner/Buyer, working initially on the agency’s growing GE Additive and GE Aviation accounts. Molly’s career as a Media Planner/Buyer took her to a number of Louisville agencies, most recently PriceWeber, where she worked for clients such as Cummins Engines, Hershey and the Louisville Ballet, among others. She also worked for three years in the Media department at Scoppechio, and before that, at Sheehy, and as National Sales Assistant at Louisville TV station WLKY. Molly is a graduate of Bellarmine University, where she majored in Communication.

Also included in our latest group of new hires is someone who really isn’t new at all, but, rather, a returning member of the Power family. Erin Zellers worked in our studio as a Photography Assistant about 8 years ago. He comes back with a new skillset and a position as a Developer on Power’s Digital team. Erin has a degree in Photography from the Art Institute of California-San Francisco. His initial training as a Developer came via Code Louisville and then in an immersive program at the Software Guild. Most recently, Erin worked as a Developer for a web shop called 13Prime.

As the entire Power team continues the task of putting names with all the new faces in our midst, remember that we are always on the lookout for talented, creative and fun-loving professionals who wouldn’t mind wearing a name tag for a day or two in exchange for a place at the ever-growing Power table.
